The Right Job for You

Finding the right job for you is essential to not only bringing balance to life but also to serving where you can make a real impact on the world.

When we work in an area where we are gifted, and where we are in our area of passion, we will find that we love the work and it fits us.

You never go to work when you love what you do. Instead, your work becomes more about living out who we are.

When we work in an area that is outside of our gifts, not compatible with our temperament, and just doesn’t fit who we are, then we hate going to work, the work becomes painfully difficult and we are not able to shine in Christ at our jobs.

When you know your design it is easier to find the type of work where you can excel. You can also know immediately what doesn’t fit for you when you know what does. Even if you are not looking for a career but just need to find some work, you can still work where you will fit and enjoy it.

Career fit 101

One of my favorite and fun books on the topic of finding the perfect career fit is The Lazy Way to Success: How to Do Nothing and Accomplish Everything This author will guide you through never working another day in your life because finding the right job means you are loving what you do and that doesn’t qualify for our concept of “work.”

Find the work that fits you, that you love so much it doesn’t feel like work, and then do it with all that you are. Now you can live from the passion and gifts Christ has given you and become a living, breathing example of what it is to live your design.

“I work with individuals to actually find themselves in Christ and have their lives truly function well in Him. Often I am serving those most hurt by the world – those who have experienced severe trauma and abuse and helping them to find complete healing from the pain and the memories.

I have seen the Lord heal hundreds. Nothing has been too difficult for Him.”
