All Growth is Spiritual Growth

Everything you do is directly related to your growth in Christ.  Your thoughts, actions, goals, behaviors – good and bad – relationships, work, finances….it’s all spiritual and all reflective of your growth.  Your spiritual maturity, or lack of it, shows in every one of these areas.

The great news is that the Lord says that you are predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ.  This means that God is invested in your spiritual growth and is using all of what I listed and more to ensure that He grows you to look like His Son.  And, you are invited by Him to grow in this process.

spiritual growth

Children grow physically by doing nothing.  It just happens to them.  They do have to participate in some in growing up though.  Emotional, mental, and spiritual maturity doesn’t just happen.  We have to be intentional to make this growth happen.  Parents train us in social skills and controlling our emotions; schools teach us mental discipline and continue to present ever more difficult subjects so that we can grow. Sometimes our spiritual growth is not as intentional.

Here we mean to change that.  Scripture tells us to grow up in the Lord, to mature, to disciple ourselves, to grow in knowledge and wisdom, and to learn what pleases the Lord.  And, what we do here on this page is just a very small part of our becoming spiritually mature.  But, start here and then keep growing, keep learning and we shall all become mature in Christ Jesus and able to teach and lead others to Him.

“I work with individuals to actually find themselves in Christ and have their lives truly function well in Him. Often I am serving those most hurt by the world – those who have experienced severe trauma and abuse and helping them to find complete healing from the pain and the memories.

I have seen the Lord heal hundreds. Nothing has been too difficult for Him.”
